Not much of a campus like you’d find at a normal college, but the area is decent and mostly clean. The subway stop is right there which is convenient as can be. Huge hospital right there and numerous stores and places to sit around.
Love the way its situated. If you like a university in a big city, this is one of the best.
While the food was descent, the service was so so. Once the cashier finally paid attention to us and we were able to order, she was very friendly. But prior to taking our order, she continued to talk to another employee and chat about non work stuff and ignore customers. The sweet potato fries and grasshopper shake were very good.
Great school. Nice urban campus blocks from White House and monuments.
Easily to get to via metro. It's an urban college so it might not fit everyone. My son likes the curriculum, but just didn't really like the urban setting. Great school for poli sci and pre med.
Came for a short visit looking at the campus. Lots young energetic people. Administration was closed on Sunday.
George Washington's University
I will be honest, I received a callback from George Washington college regarding to a nutritional program.
The person was communicating with someone wile he also was also talking to me gaving very little specifics. Consequently I was unimpressed.
This program is unqualified for what I consider high quality education.
You need to have staff fully committed to their work and engaged in talking to you about the program.
UPDATE: Took over 8 phone calls and roughly 3 hours of my life to find out why my transcripts weren’t sent. Answer? The 200k in paid tuition doesn’t cover the cost of a “paper diploma”, so there was a hold on my account….STAY AWAY! This institution is an embarrassment to higher education….
3/6/23: As a student and an alumni I have had the same consistent problem - it’s near impossible to get information from any student services (registrar, admissions, alumni relations) over the phone. You get lost in a series of automated prompts only to sit on hold for up to an hour. If you email, it takes days for a response. I’ve graduated from 3 universities and this one is by the far the most difficult for remote learners.
